Hat tip to Gavin, for pointing out PZ Myers going after UCG for their Google ads.
It says it takes two to four weeks to ship. As soon as I get mine, I’ll open up a thread here with the same title as the book, and we shall all join in a gleeful public evisceration of their crappy little booklet. If you’ve got a blog, put a critical dissection of the book there and send me the link, and I’ll add it to the post. We’ll give them publicity, all right, but it will be the harshest, nastiest, meanest publicity possible — we will do everything we can to make sure that when someone googles their organization or their booklet, all that comes back is a mountain of snarling contempt.
It’ll be fun.

What’s wrong with genuine, honest criticism? Absolutely nothing wrong with that as far as I can see.
What chance is there that it will be a genuine, honest criticism? Just about zero. Why? For a kick off the blog states“we shall all join in a gleeful public evisceration of their crappy little booklet.” but saying this before they have even SEEN the booklet.
Kind of shows that a verdict has been made before the evidence has actually arrived.
Given the stated purpose the blog “Evolution, development, and random biological ejaculations from a godless liberal”, I suppose PZ Myers has no option but to prejudge the issue.

The thing I find disturbing is that, even after they were TOLD they were taking money from the mouths of tithes-payers and their children, the fucking fundies were still going “It’ll cost them SO MUCH MONEY heeeeeeee!”
No, fuckers, the children who have to eat canned beans (WITHOUT pork thankyewverymuch), Kraft Dinner, and Hebrew National Wieners, are the ones who it’s going to cost; not the 80K+-a-year-EACH ministers in the UCG.

I won’t be ordering any of their booklets. I wouldn’t want them cluttering up my mailbox with their silly shit. I cleaned my house of WCG literature once upon a time and I’m not allowing any of it to ever return.
All it is good for is to run it through a hammermill and add it to the compost pile.

Hehe well when a JW showed up at the door a couple of years ago (unfortunately I was not the one to answer it), I was asked by the unfortunate who took the “free literature”, “What’s this good for?” My response was, “Firestarter.”
