As long as people think that the “holy” scriptures are more than just religious leaders shooting the shit, pulling the wool and otherwise outright lying, then we are going to have gullible people.
If a GOD wanted anyone to know anything then that GOD would have the ability to do so without human spokesmen. I mean, we are talking about a GOD after all and not just a slightly above human thingamabob that lives in the sky. Not a doohickey or a thingamajig but a GOD, for pit’s sake.
An actual, real, bonafide GOD would not be the biblegod that stupid christians “know” and love. Whatever a GOD is, that’s not it.
