I notice Junior never refers to stories like THIS in his victim-blaming, half-assed “appy olly oggies”. Oh, but that’s right, it was Worldwide that did that shit, Junior’s church is bright and shiny new and NOT WORLDWIDE.

Pull the other one, Junior, it’s got fucking bells on.

If any of those tithe-sucking, cruise-taking, jet-setting fat bastards still in charge of WCG/GCI/PT/ORM’s “assets” (read, criminally misappropriated funds) had REALLY found the Jebus they’re STILL beating their poor deluded sheeples about the head with to try and convert them (best of luck with that Junior, if the local congregation here is any indication, you’re not even CLOSE), they would refer to this video BY NAME, and ADMIT that this is the way the church was — and they would apologize for THAT.

Instead of making some “Well, we TRIED,” whining little prayer pledge for dollars from the deluded.

Fuck you Junior. Talk to me when you’ve got even a scintilla of remorse for what your father and his idol put us all through.

We are the children of the church.

  1. Love your comments! Seinspirit sure is bringing some armstrongites out of the woodwork, who are only blaming her and belittling her every step of the way. I think she has done more to expose the ugliness of Herbie’s cult than most have. I hope she keeps up the good work.

  2. This young woman has a quality that I greatly like and admire. She don’t give a shit what people think about her knowledge and beliefs about the WCG/GCI and its vomited out daughters.

She has a great deal of love and respect for the victims of Armstrongism who have impacted and influenced her life – a permanent impression that I share and it never, ever goes away.

Never look for any remorse from any of the cult masters, they don’t have feelings like normal people. It’s just a way to make a lot of money without working for it.

I keep getting the feeling that we know someone who is trying to get a cult of his own started, because it’s obvious that he doesn’t have normal feelings and emotions but tries to use other people’s feelings and emotions against them.

A lot of people just loved old Billy Graham but he was a real expert at doing that sort of thing. At least he knew how to keep everything neat and clean.

Nevermind Bob, what about Neo?!?! That self-righteous bastard belittled the girl’s testimony just because she’s an atheist! Neo’s an asshole. I can’t believe the Quakers let him anywhere near their group…..Well, then again, Neo has said he goes to GCI, so there you have it. Neo is just another Larry.

Neo is definitely an anti-atheist to the degree that if one is an atheist they can’t possibly know anything in his burned out on Armstrongism brain.

That’s the sign of someone who greatly fears that atheism is the correct view. It’s a horrifying thing for a cultist to admit to being wrong and they will avoid the evidence of being wrong at all costs.

Yep, Neo and Larry are quite a bit alike and it doesn’t matter what the WCG/GCI teaches these days – they’re Armstrongites through and through and HWA is still the end times apostle to them.

In a way it’s kind of funny, Tom Mahon and David Hoover are good examples of the future portraits of Bob, Neo and Larry – complete whack-o’s.

The older I get the more I lean toward anti-theist. I’m getting to the point that I can’t tolerate being around people who talk about a god as if it’s real when I know that what they’re saying is just bullshit. They don’t know what they are talking about and I know they don’t know – that’s what makes it so hard to tolerate ‘em. They believe all kinds of bullshit that they don’t have any proof or evidence of – the bible, that’s their evidence and that’s why they can’t talk about a god without it.

  3. Something I have recently (today, actually) found extremely disheartening: I did a search on kids from the cult that I used to babysit; much to my dismay, all searches I did (on Facebook, for example) show them all still in the cult – 20 years later – with links to some of the cultmasters and abusive ministers on their Facebook pages! It makes me wonder if my nephews will ever find the strength to get out. I suppose everyone has his/her path; but the role of a victim of an abusive cult is most certainly not one that I would choose for my nephews. But again, it is not my choice. I just wish that I could help them see that they HAVE a choice.

I know this won’t make you feel any better, but if it weren’t for Senior proving that ALL religion is false (including “the one true church”), I would still be in, and waiting for a Kingdom that is never going to come. :-(

  4. Atheists and agnostics are right in most of their thinking

It has been common among religious believers to look with misgiving at atheists and agnostics, and to think that they are mistaken; however, in many instances the opposite is the truth; some religious beliefs are not just irrelevant, but baseless. The “God” of main line traditions simply does not exist. I accepted the challenge of finding the One who may be recognized even by agnostics and atheists: the Existence itself. The God of religions may be denied, but nobody can deny that the Existence is. It doesn’t matter how you call it, but “All-That-Is,” is. A book (probably not written for you) “Christianity Reformed From ist Roots” tells all; perhaps its reflections will relieve your friends of the illusion, as they did for me. (Amazon.com).

Heh, you know, I had heard the Episcopals were trying to cash in on the “cosmic christology” that’s gaining so much cachet these days; with the advent of all the advertising (Episcopalian books are a dime a dozen in the religious section of any major bookstore now), it’s obvious they’re just trying to CASH IN.

And that, my dear member of your own papal hierarchy, is the Plain Truth — about religion. :-)
